Parent Responsibilities

We will send home newsletters, progress reports, letters, documents and child care information periodically. Please be sure to read all documents as some will contain important information.

We feel that good communication between parents and ourselves plays an important part in your child’s care. If at any time you have questions or concerns, please contact us immediately to discuss your concerns.

We are professional child care providers, not “babysitters”. We have gone through many, many steps to obtain our State of Michigan License and remain in compliance yearly.

Jill’s Kid Connection will provide milk, juice, water and snacks. Parents are responsible for bringing their child’s Breakfast and Lunch.

Please inform us about any  allergies, concerns or special needs your child may have at the time of interview. Each child must have at least one change of clothes, diapers and wipes. If your child is bottle fed, you may either bring bottles daily marked with your child’s name and date or You may choose to bring formula along with bottles to be kept here for us to mix as needed. If your baby is breastfed, please be sure your child will take bottles before starting daycare. All children should come groomed and dressed in clean clothes. No toys, candy or chocolate are allowed in daycare. When your child will not be attending as scheduled, please call and leave a message. If your child is SICK, please keep them home. All required forms must be completed and returned on your first day of care. We also will require new forms be filled out yearly or when new forms are released. Medical authorization forms MUST be completed before medication can be administered. If someone other than yourself is picking up your child, please let us know and make sure you have them listed on your daycare forms.
